Easily Lose Stubborn Stomach Fat and Never Go Near a Treadmill Again

Getting Rid of stubborn stomach fat is simple if you follow a few basic steps.  First, dump your treadmill.  I know this sounds contrary to what most people would tell you, but it’s only making you out of breath, and it’s not getting you the results you need, or you wouldn’t be looking at this article.  Why don’t we be completely honest, most of us want a thin stomach and six pack abs, but no matter how hard we work at the gym, our stomachs are usually the very last areas to lose fat.  That can be pretty discouraging pretty quickly, especially if you’ve been running on a treadmill or riding a bike like a lion is chasing you.  Being out of breath and fat isn’t supposed to be the point of a workout, burning fat is.  So why can’t we lost that stomach fat faster?  Doesn’t there have to be a better way?

Yes there is a better way, and I can tell you right now, it doesn’t involve long boring cardio, hours on a treadmill, or swimming like Michael Phelps!  The best way to get rid of tummy fat is really simple.  Build more muscle.  If you want to lose more stomach fat in a shorter time than you ever thought was possible, you need to focus on building muscle.

“But I don’t want to look like the Incredible Hulk!”

I’m not talking about spending hours in the gym pushing iron like Arnold until you can throw a bus, I’m talking about building compact lean muscle mass. This kind of muscle isn’t big and bulky, but rather sleek and toned, and every pound of it you pack onto your body will help you burn an extra 60 calories per day.  And that’s if all you do is lie around all day and do nothing!

When you exercise to build lean muscle, you are able to avoid long hours in the gym and that horrible torturous treadmill and focus on resistance exercises that you can control.  These kinds of exercises allow you to move at your own speed and work with a weight that will challenge you but not overwork you.  When you workout like this, and take your time, you will be able to get in and out of the gym 5 times quicker than those treadmill junkies, and you won’t have to be bored during a workout again.

What’s more, exercising your entire body with weights will have your body burning belly fat much faster than if you just do boring cardio.  This happens because you will be building lean muscle, and lean muscle causes your body to eat up stored fat.  This means that while you will still be losing fat from other areas of your body, you will also start to notice an enormous change in your belly as well, provided you are being careful of what you eat.
